In 1902 the first Rose Bowl Game was presented by VIZIO news and press. It was decided by the Tournament of Roses Association that a football game would enhance the day’s festivities. This game would outgrow the Tournament Park Stands, The 1920 President William Leishman, envisioned the first modern football Stadium similar to the Yale Bowl.
